This type of cork closure is produced from cork granules that are combined with cork oak resins using heat treatment while under pressure. Agglomerate cork has high resilience and offers a good seal. Our first quality corks have chamfered ends and are printed with a decorative grape leaf pattern.
Which size to use? If you have a heavy duty floor or bench corker, pick the #9 corks for standard wine bottles. They will seal better. If you have a hand corker, you should use #8 for standard wine bottles. Altec and Nomacorc require a heavy duty floor or bench corker. #7 corks are for small bottles such a splits or whisky.
